RightNow Media!
Our church now has access to an extensive, new video library called RightNow Media that has a HUGE library of faith-based video Bible studies that you can access whenever and wherever you want-on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV.

RightNow Media has videos for everyone-kids, youth, parents, married couples, college students, single adults, working professionals-all aimed at helping you grow in your faith. If you have not signed up yet, please do so. Did we mention that it is free? If you deleted your invitation, let Nancy know and she will send you another invite.

If you have found a video course you like and would like to recommend it to others, let Pastor know.

Toner Cartridge Recycling
There is a receptacle in the narthex at church (under the coat rack) where used toner/ink cartridges may be placed for recycling.

Update from Bethany Spiritual Life/Chaplain Discussion - We would like to express our appreciation to everyone who attended the "Coffee and Conversations" on March 11th as well as those unable to attend, but shared their thoughts. We had representation from 8 of our 14 sponsoring congregations, including Congregation Members, Delegates, Bethany Auxiliary, Pastors and Board Members. We had a great discussion and will be sharing the information in more detail with the Bethany Board and our sponsoring congregations in the coming few weeks. If you have any thoughts you would like to share, please feel free to contact Diane Carlon at 712-329-5451 or you can e-mail her at carlon@blhs.care. Due to the length of the material shared and the discussion information, we are unable to include it all in the newsletter. Please be watching for more information in your church or feel free to contact us. **Our thanks to Emanuel Lutheran for allowing us to host the gathering at their church. We greatly appreciate it.

Omaha Gives! (and Council Bluffs too) coming May 23rd - Bethany Lutheran Home and Bethany Heights will once again be participating in the Omaha Gives program this year. Omaha/Pottawattamie County's 6th annual 24-hour charitable challenge is set for May 23, 2018. The on-line giving begins at midnight with a minimum $10 donation and hourly drawings and prizes to make your donations go further. In 2017, nearly 19,000 individuals came together to support nonprofits with gifts of $10 or more through omahagives.org. Last year this generosity resulted in 923 nonprofits in Douglas, Sarpy and Pottawattamie counties receiving more than $7.8 million in donations and prizes during the event. Bethany Lutheran Home was a recipient of giving dollars as well as additional challenge dollar support. More information will be coming. Please mark your calendar and consider supporting Bethany through this giving challenge May 23rd. Thank you.
